Packs are prepaid credits that draw down as you record — totals, not monthly allowances — and stay valid for 24 months. The metric you see is the metric you're billed: verifiable receipts produced, metered only on success.
When credits run out, recording pauses with an honest
402 — existing receipts and their verification are never affected.

What payment never buys
Payment buys production capacity — never outcomes. A paid account's receipt reports exactly the same checks, with the same honesty, as a free one. There is no way to buy a better verdict, and there never will be.
